Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Apparently Florence is where to go in Italy for good Chinese food. Who knew? The local Asian community all seems to eat there, and I think that I know why. Inexpensive, great service, and all our dishes were wonderful. I would also add that no meal there is complete without Nonna's fried rice."
"Quite alright for Chinese restaurant in Florence. They have a good mix of the usual Chinese food plus modern dishes such as mala xiang Guo. The taste were good but not wow . Mapo tofu and mala spicy very mild."
"We came for a trip to Italy and along with the place, we fell in love with this chinese restaurant too. We ordered Grandma's fried rice, steamed chicken dumplings, ramen, gabao chicken and in-house red wine. Everything was heaven, very delicious and i felt it was worth every penny we spent. Highly recommended."
"needed a break from italian food after a week and a half of pasta. was freezing outside so i got green tea and 酸菜魚. gigantic bowl but the soup and the fish was very refreshing."
"Very good delicious authentic Asian food with very reasonable prices near to the Academmia! I was surprised at how affordable the dishes were. The Japanese ramen and Chongqing Noodles both had good tasting broth. Their fried noodles was also very tasty, as was the fried rice cakes and the cauliflower wok dish. All their fried dishes had good Wok Hey (wok charring which makes the food really tasty, a skill good Chinese chefs have to have). Highly highly recommend for those craving Asian food or even if not, come and try some Asian food. There were many non Asians when we were there too. Service was also impeccable. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Such a gem! I wished I had better photos but we got distracted by the food and started eating right away! EDIT: We came back a second time and it did not disappoint. This time I took pictures!"
"Nice staff and good food. The sale was 4€ which was really cheap. They also have a 7€ offer for lunch"
"I'm Malaysian Chinese. I have ordered fried rice, pork ribs noodles and spicy fried chicken. The food is very authentic Chinese cuisine. To anyone sick of eating pasta, pizza and panini should give this place a try to satisfy the home sickness of Chinese food."
"Very good food, friendly waitress and pretty good service. Only downside was that it might've left us with a bit of nausea after 2ish hours. I'm chalking that up to the amount of oil/chilly oil the food that, and i'm sensitive to that."
